The Business Contracts Student Assistant will provide general office support to the campus Business Contracts Office (BCO), which is responsible for negotiating and executing intellectual property agreements. Specifically the student assistant will organize and maintain contract files, update and maintain the Business Contracts Office database records using BCO protocols and provide other administrative support as identified by the manager of contract specialists.
The position will be located in the north east section of the campus. The office is relocating from an off campus location during the first week of November and is accepting resumes to conduct interviews and trainings before the move.
This position may be of particular interest to someone interested in business, law or intellectual property rights. |
| Qualifications: |
This position requires someone with good administrative, organizational, and time management skills to handle a variable workload, must have the ability to effectively express oneself both verbally and in writing, and exhibit tact and diplomacy in dealing with others. Also the position requires analytical skills, the ability and desire to take initiative, and work productively with a high degree of accuracy in an environment with frequent interruptions. The position must be able to work independently to sufficiently perform duties, yet have the ability to work closely with other members of the BCO team to accomplish assignments and/or projects. |
