We teach students in grades 7-10 in an academically accelerated program. We need tutors to staff our summer school program. Tutors will work Monday through Friday from 7:30am-12:30pm. Our summer school program will run from Monday, June 29, 2009- through Friday July 31, 2009. Qualifications: Tutors should have experience working with children from an urban environment. Skills in the following are a plus: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, English and History. Students of color and students that are bilingual are needed but it is not required.
